Hello.  My name is Kathy A. Wittman.  I am a retired college teacher.  In the past, I taught classes in Education, English, and Psychology.  I recently completed an Associate degree in Art at Laramie County Community College.  I am working toward a Bachelor degree in Art from the University of Wyoming.  Kaleidoscopic Visions is a family business that offers a varied selection of my works.  This website includes examples of my drawings, paintings, and photographs, as well as works by my son, Christopher M. Logsdon, my daughter, Sarah B. Logsdon, and my husband, Robert A. Wittman.   The following quotes by famous artists and writers reflect my philosophy about art and literature:

"The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life."

~William Faulkner

"Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen."

~Leonardo da Vinci

"I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way — things I had no words for."

~Georgia O'Keeffe

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."

~Scott Adams
